I’ve always had a love for nature, and when travelling, there’s nothing as magical as mother nature igniting your senses. The Kerry Way is a magical place and a must see and must explore on your next trip to Ireland.

The Kerry Way is one of Ireland's longest walking trails and also one of the most popular. At 214 Kilometres, it offers fantastic views of unspoilt landscapes. A walk along the Kerry Way will swathe you in 10 000 years of dramatic Celtic history.

Following the spectacular coastal route, the Wild Atlantic Way, you’ll pass ancient burial grounds, walk through one of Ireland’s oldest natural woodland and be met with fantastic views of the coast and inland.

Explore The Kerry Way with a 4 night self-guided walking tour. This 4 night trip is the perfect way to appreciate the contrasts in landscapes at every turn. Starting at the famous town of Killarney, your walk begins at Caherdaniel along the country roads with breath-taking beach views and then to Waterville, a fishing spot loved by Charlie Chaplin up to a plateau with 360 degree views. Meandering the landscape, which was carved out of rock by the last Ice Age 10,000 years ago, marvel at Iron Age forts and ruined abbeys among the many sheep that dot the fields, crisp blue loughs and pretty waterfalls. As you head northwards, the coastal views get better and better. You'll stay in a mix of friendly bed and breakfasts, where you will be sure of a warm Irish welcome. Many towns offer pubs, bistros and restaurants serving tasty local food. The seafood is especially good!
